Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines by means of the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: « It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be harmful.
« These kinds of products being offered, typically online, have actually gone through no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
« You simply do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health. »
