Around 25,000 vacancies are advertised every month on the NHS Jobs website in more than 350 different careers. Whether you wish to work directly with clients or behind the scenes, there’ll be a task to fit you.
What every job in the NHS has in common is the understanding that you’re making a distinction to people’s lives every day.

– Job applications
When you have actually found a suitable vacancy:
– check out the information about the task really carefully
– check out the questions on the application
that you match what they are trying to find in the person requirements for the task
– take your time to complete the form
– make sure that you emphasise what makes you ideal for the work
– mention any experience you have that will show your commitment and understanding of the work
– inspect your information and ask someone else to read it through

Interviews
If you are welcomed for an interview:
– discover as much as you can about the employer, the role and the individuals who’ll be interviewing you if you’re offered their names ahead of time
– take some time to prepare, eg take a look at beforehand where the interview will be held, decide what you are going to wear and what you will take with you
– consider the kind of questions you might be asked and prepare some concepts to address them
– listen to the questions thoroughly and take your time when answering
– take the chance to ask concerns at the end
Know that as part of the recruitment procedure, you may be asked to take ability tests. You are most likely to have a health evaluation and rap sheet check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
